Georgia L Armstrong serves as the current Secretary of the Lakewood Ranch Republican Club.  Born on May 27, 1952, Georgia is a graduate of St. John’s High School (1970) in Darlington, SC.  She graduated from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina with a degree in Elementary Education.  She applied her education during a successful 27 year teaching career.  She is married to Dr. Norman Armstrong, an Office Manager for 8 years who in a post retirement career owned and operated the Arrowston Inn Bed and Breakfast.  It is notable that during this 5 year engagement, this Inn became the number 1 Bed and Breakfast in the state of Ohio!  Together, Georgia and Norman hosted numerous Republican fundraisers for local, State and Federal candidates.  Georgia has been a permanent resident of Florida for the past 6 years and she celebrates her 7th year as Secretary in 2023.
