Charlotte A. Madar is Treasurer of the Lakewood Ranch Republican club and a member of the Manatee County Republican Executive Committee.

She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors Degree in Premed.  After graduating she worked as an Infrared Spectroscopist in the laboratory of Perkin Elmer Corporation in Norwalk, CT.

She followed up this career as a Regional Sales Manager for Coppercraft Guild of Taunton, MA. Changing course, she became the owner and President of of Professional Travel Planners Bureau growing this business to over $1,000,000 in annual revenue with 7 agents.

During her travel agency times, Charlotte was a member of the Shelton Republican Town Committee and the Chairwoman at the Appointment and Taxation Bureau for the City of Shelton during which time she earned the prestigious John Davis Lodge award.  Charlotte also served on the Board of Directors for United Methodist Homes, Advisory Board of Directors for the Salvation Army.

Locally, she served as Treasurer for the Cindy Spray School Board member campaign.  Charlotte also serves on the Veterans Committee for the Elks Lodge #2855 in Lakewood Ranch.  

Charlotte relocated from Shelton, Ct to Lakewood Ranch in 2016.  She is a widow, has 3 children.  Her daughter, who is also a resident of Lakewood Ranch, is an Emergency Trauma doctor.  Her son and family reside in Wallingford, CT and is CFO of HSA Bank in Milwaukee, WI.  Her other son lives in Caldwell, NJ and is in the IT department of Prudential Insurance Company in Rosalind, NJ.  Charlotte enjoys her 3 grandchildren who live in Chicago, New York and Connecticut.
